Pemi Cabins

We stayed in the modern apartment which was clean and had everything we needed. Since we didn't have the best view of the river, the staff directed us to the new lounge where we could watch it and hear the birds. They even left a little bowl of snacks for us as we watched the river. When we checked in we got a great local dinner recommendation that wasn't too far away. Next time we would like to stay in one of the rustic cabins, they look cozy, especially one with a fireplace.

We had a lovely time. Conveniently located to ice castles and other shops. We stayed in Cabin 19 (the largest cabin). Our son loved the bunk room and is working in convincing his grandpa to build him one. All the rooms were cleaned. And the beds were comfortable. The aesthetics and charm of the house was great. Only critiques would be bathrooms need to bed better stocked with toilet paper and hairdryer in each main bathroom would be convenient. The kitchen could have more and updated cookware. And fixing the upstair French door and kitchen window/door that have damage from pets would freshen the look. Had a wonderful stay at Pemi Cabins! The place is super cozy and clean, right on the beautiful Pemigewasset River. Loved the sound of the water! Our cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway, and we enjoyed evening fires by the fire pit. The location is great for exploring nearby attractions like Franconia Notch and Loon Mountain. Plus, it's dog-friendly which was a big plus for us. Can't wait to come back again!

Firstly, I would like to address those who have noticed recent negative reviews regarding this place. From my understanding ownership transference has been fairly new. It seems old owners couldn't care less about how they pass it on to the new folks. I believe I was in contact with someone relating to the old owners who wasn't very great at assisting. A sort of pick up the pieces type of transference of owners even. Though once finding out that new owners were present on site (and for our whole stay) just a day or two prior to us showing up it made more sense. We had stayed from 1/27 to 2/1 in Cabin 10 and about a day or two prior to that the new owners had just arrived from Fairbanks Alaska. They are so unbelievably nice. These cabins were absolutely adorable! Quaint & very clean. View from the screened porch was awesome. Bathroom was small but that was not a major problem. Staff gave us suggestions on where to go in Franconia State Park & they were spot on. Only sort of negative thing would be that I wish there was an ice machine available but I would definitely stay here again!
