Pavilions Motel

Interesting experience. Size and facilities aren't the problem, it's the lack of cleanliness. I've stayed in hotels and hostels around the world and this is among the most unclean. Ominous stains on the bed sheets and mould on the bed covers. Bathroom taps also appear to have never been cleaned. With a little effort and refurbishment it could be a real money spinner, being 10 minutes from Santa Monica pier. Look for a more expensive option or use a hostel if you're on a budget.

If I can truly give less than 1 star I would!! Please save your money! I booked this through Expedia and by far the worse hotel I've EVER stayed. First off, the person on site was extremely rude. Some old guy. Second they didn't even provide me a key to the room. He said to just use the sliding doors. Upon entering the room looked nothing like the pictures. i went into the bathroom to find the light bulb broken. T.V didn't even work. A.c was all broken. Did not feel safe at all. I contacted Expidia, they were no help at all. So I was there 20min and left. The old man was mad when I canceled. They did no give any refund and the 2nd gentleman was rude about it. Horrible experience. Save your money please.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I never thought I’d see a hotel room as bad as this one. I don’t know how they can get away with actually renting those rooms out to people. there was black mold all over the room. You could tell that the blankets on the bed had not been washed in a very long time. You see stains from other peoples fun on the bed. we bought a blanket to lay over the bed just so we could lay down until we saw roaches coming out of the TV (which did not work) and then we had to leave. From that point on all we felt, was roaches all over us, worst hotel I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe this place is up to code!! There’s no way.

This has to be one of the most disgusting hotels in California. First of all we were not given a key for our room, the guy at the front said he has only one key so anytime we need to get in and out of our room we had a knock on the door to ask him. That was a really uncomfortable feeling. When we walked in the room and turned on the lights the very first thing we seen were cockroaches scattering. There were roaches in the restroom and there were roaches on the wall. The walls are yellow with brown and gray stains all over them ,no telling what the stains are. The blankets and pillows are gritty, worn out ,stale and they smell like they have not been washed in months. There was 2 of us staying here, suppose to stay 2 nights. Barely made it thru the first night then had to leave. The sheets and blankets had stains/dirty marks on them, including the inside, someone’s old gum stuck, we got hassled trying to request new bedding. The drawers/ table surfaces were filthy dust/dirt. We found several cockroaches crawling on walls and drawers. The shower was grimy, the last customers shaved hair smeared all around and old half soap bars on the ground. When brought to hotel attention rolled their eyes and said this isn’t the Hilton. Not apologetic at all . Did not care to loose are business just said go then! And fyi motel 6 is $40 cheaper, clean, friendly! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
