Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows

We visited Fig around 8:00 AM on January 19th and were immediately impressed. Within seconds of being seated, Chris greeted us with a warm introduction and was ready to take our full order. The service was exceptionally efficient without feeling rushed. As for the food, the steel-cut oatmeal with mixed berries was delicious, and the cappuccino was crafted to perfection. Chris’s personable and attentive nature truly made our breakfast a delightful experience.

Positive: "" Negative: The rooms were SMALL. Like NYC small. I had no where to put a suitcase, or anything else. There was no full length mirror. I loved the property and the location but the room was so squishy and not modern or chic at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of — every interaction was warm, professional, and thoughtful. The food was amazing throughout our stay, with great quality and consistently excellent service. The property itself is beautiful, with lovely landscaping that makes the whole hotel feel like a calm oasis right in the middle of the city. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the hotel is — it’s rare to find a luxury property that makes traveling with a pup this easy and comfortable. And the location is unbeatable: perfect for walking around Santa Monica, easy beach access, and close to everything. A truly memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property with a great history and gorgeous location. The staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Food and bar service was excellent. Location makes walking to many great destinations possible. Bungalows are so comfortable. Amenities over the top. Dyson blow dryers!! Just fabulous.

More than a hotel — A great experience based in an incredible location! I’ve been lucky enough to stay at the Fairmont on several occasions, but my most recent visit over the Christmas and New Year holiday season of 2025 was genuinely special. From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail was outstanding. The festive decorations were beautiful, creating a warm, luxurious atmosphere.
