Very nice place. Clean and friendly. Great views and right on the river.
We have had reservations for almost a year for a beach front spot. We were charged $111 a night and for that amount, we were willing to go, because of the "amenities ", gameroom/recreation room, beach front, dog parks, restrooms & showers. When we got here, we checked in, parked our RV and did a walk around the RV park to check out the restrooms and the game room, as we have a 14 yo son and we usually hang out in the recreation room and play games as a family. Most KOAs have recreation rooms. Well, the bathrooms/showers were unairconditioned and nasty, and when we got to the gameroom, it was closed due to reconstruction. It would have been nice for someone to have let people that had already made reservations know that the recreation room was closed or going to be closing. The water views
We love it here. This is our second year coming and it won't be our last.
Mixed feelings here. Our spot was nice. But it was in front of a pump house. So we could hear that all hours. Guess it was a pump house. Anyway, park models could use some love.. not real attractive. We saw we were supposed to have cable. Hooked up to it and though it said like over 300 channels (we knew something wasn't right there) we got 2. One was a landing page for cable provider the other was National Geographic channel. The WiFi was very good. Water pressure good. Our Rig is 43+. Ft. Pretty easy in and out. Maybe a tad more expensive.... Folks there were pretty nice but didn't see the staff out interacting much and keeping an eye on things. We were there in the second half of April but wasn't all that busy. However the folks using the water... Boats, very loud. 7am waterskiers
Worst experience at a KOA so far. We got here to find dog shit in our site. I cleaned that up. The adults in the site beside us continuously cut through our site all times of the day. At one point we found 2 of them right beside our steps just standing there. They left. We had one good day and then a whole family reunion surrounded us with rv's all setting up with at least 7 dogs. To add insult we get a call telling us they're going to shut off the water for a few hours the next morning. We came to relax , There was no relaxation at this campground. Management booked this reunion thing, plenty of other open sites. They could put us. Don't bother Never again place is expensive and sucks
