Customer Reviews
Great campground! Very clean and the hosts where great! They do a wonderful job getting people sites by the water. It's a very fair system. The burros were fun to see, but they will get into anything you leave out. Also if you have pets keep a close eye on them, coyotes got the cat in the site next to me. I loved my stay here and met some very nice people. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
Thank you to Laurie and Dennis! Absolute legends! Beautifully kept grounds, fairness for river front (if one becomes available during your stay) love and protection for the wild burrows. (And education when required) …. Don’t feed. don’t touch. ❤️
A friend loves this place and kept inviting me to camp there. Finally, I went and loved it! It is totally dry camping. This is developed BLM land. Each site is well marked and has a picnic table. The cost is $5 per night or $2.50 per night if you have the senior pass. The camp hosts are wonderful. It’s a very fun place to camp along the Colorado River. Just 6 miles from Parker, AZ where you can get water, propane, and dump your waste tanks.
Didn't appreciate the hostess telling me that the lower section was full multiple times and that's why they had the "it's full" sign set up, prior to being greeted and asking if I needed assistance or had questions. Thanks "Karen," I'm not an idiot, however I had a question therefore I drove down to the "host" site so I could ask since it's your job to work with the guests and answer questions. Aside from hostess, this is a fantastic location! If the lower section is full, be sure to snag #26 in the top section so that you have an obstructed view of the landscape, with no campers to the one side.
Camp host are super nice. Is clean and kept up. Price right up my alley. Beautiful and right on the Colorado river. There is a vault toilet onsite but no electricity or hookups great for boon docking. Wild burrows will visit your camp but they don’t really bother if no food is left out.
