Palace Inn Sam Houston Race Park

Great place for an overnight or short term stay! The front desk is polite and accommodating. There's hot coffee and muffins available. The rooms a tiny bit dated but serve their purpose, are pretty spacious and equipped with a microwave & mini fridge. Housekeeping staff is friendly and ensures there's enough towels, toiletries, etc. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping and parking is plentiful and secure.

I enjoyed staying here. The gentleman who checked me was very kind and gave me a reasonable price. The room and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. I will definitely return.

AMAZING SERVICE.! From short to a month plus extended stay the staff both front desk and housekeeping have been amazing. Always kind, always smiling & they have always made me feel safe and secure. The rooms are spacious and always clean the front desk is open 24hours. Super quiet comfortable amenities and convenient location.

We planned on staying here two nights, when we got here we could tell that the bathroom was not clean, but we were tired. We let the front desk know the next morning and as we were leaving the housekeeper approached our car and slammed on the window til we opened it. She proceeded to yell at my husband for telling on her. It gets better when we came back later that night the toilet had blood in it. We had the manager in she got the lady to come clean it. We then found a needle on the floor. Not sure what took place while we were gone but between the blood and the needle this place is horrible. No apologies just the workers calling us names.

I have traveled extensively over my professional career. Jay the owner and his crew keep this facility so impeccably clean and presentable at all times, the biggest names in the industry have nothing on this great place. The customer experience is nothing less than perfect. The team makes you feel like family, the maintenance team members, the front desk; and Jay the owner, always welcome you with a smile and treat you with respect.
