Good location of a tired motel. Breakfast massive disappointment after we had booked and paid extra to include breakfast we were given a "complimentary" doggy bag of a cheap chewy bar, muffin, apple and tiny water bottle given to everyone ( only enough for a child ). No complimentary coffee in breakfast/reception area at breakfast in time. Best to bring your own or go hungry

We stayed at PaddleTail Lodge and had a mixed but overall decent experience. The renovated rooms on the second floor are nice, and we loved being able to walk right outside and see the bay. The location is definitely the highlight — being walkable to nearby spots and having their own on-site water adventures/excursion company is super convenient. However, there were a few challenges during our stay. There is active construction going on, and the noise was pretty disruptive. Because our tours started very early in the morning, we were hoping to rest between excursions, but the constant construction noise made that difficult. We also arrived very late our first night (around 11 pm after a long drive) and unfortunately our room had not been properly cleaned. There were men’s clothes and und

Positive: I love that they have fresh brewed coffee in the morning and if you want something frou frou there?s a coffee stand you can patronize. It was very convenient to be able to rent kayaks from their adventure store on site as well! The location is great. Negative: The AC wouldn?t go below 72 and didn?t do a super job of cooling the room. If you?re a hot sleeper bring a fan.

We enjoyed a two night stay. Great location, convenient to everything even walkable to a couple of restaurants. Friendly staff. Clean, mostly updated basic room. It was nothing fancy but met our needs. Building three parking lot could use more lighting like the other buildings. Breakfast, and lobby were nice. Fun tiki bar on the water. Gift shop that included tours and activities leaving from the premises was a nice surprise.

Nice, friendly staff. The motel is spread out, so we drove to Unit C. The exterior doors face the parking area, which makes access easy. The room was basic but clean. When we first entered there was a mild mildew smell, which is probably typical in a high-humidity area. There was a small moisture absorber in the room, and the air conditioner cleared the smell fairly quickly. Overall, the room felt Motel-6 quality — functional and fine for a short stay. Breakfast the next morning was included but limited. The waffle maker was broken (not really their fault). The remaining options were typical — we grabbed a banana and yogurt. It was a standard included breakfast and not a highlight. The location is good and close to the center of town. We didn’t use the pool or other facilities.
