King’s Bay Lodge

We spent several days here and had a great time. This is what the old style of lodges and motor motels were like but up to date and clean. Our room was up to date, clean, and spacious. The kitchenette had new appliances. The wifi and cable tv worked well. The tidal pool was interesting but nice. The location was fantastic. One block to restaurants and shopping in two directions but on a quiet street.

Had a great time at Kings Bay Lodge. Our family loves the old school charm of this place. The location is great for food and shopping downtown which can be walked to in 2 minutes. The location is great for being right on the bay. Boat slips are available if needed. The “natural “ spring pool is super cool. We jumped in for a short time only with it being February but I would think that in the warmer months that it would be awesome. Our room was clean and the staff is helpful if needed. I hope this place never changes into a “new” development…..:because it is great the way it is. We were super happy to get on about 15 manatees at on of the springs. Our family will be back for sure.

The staff was very accommodating to our needs. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable. The launch at the hotel was very convenient to put our paddleboards in to see the Manatee which is close to 3 sisters spring! This was my 3rd stay at KBL and plan on booking again in the near future...

This was one of the cutest, coziest and convenient little old, but updated, mom and pop motels I have ever stayed in! The staff was so helpful and accommodating and the room was immaculate (and I stay in a lot of motels). So happy I found it and they didn’t price gouge for the annual manatee festival and it was literally across the street. Would definitely come back!

What a gem! It was like stepping back in time and staying in an old motor-lodge. This place did not get stuck in time though, the room is modern and very well kept.The first thing that impressed me was the communication, they send you a text letting you know the room is ready. I have never stayed in a place so clean! I couldn't find dust anywhere. We were very impressed. The room also smelled very nice. The kitchen is well equipped. The room is very spacious. The location is prime. We walked everywhere, which was a very nice treat. Lot of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. You can also walk to Hunter Springs Park and see the manatees. We did not use the pool as it was way too cold, but it's such a cool feature. I am so glad I found this place. I will be back again for
