Retreat at Crystal Manatee

So let me start with how cute this little property is! It gives villa vibes. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable with food and what to do. Location is superb we got in so many steps since its withen walking distance to the adorable downtown area which is also a must. The property is smoke free and the rooms are super clean. Its a continental breakfast but the coffee is fresh and so is the bread. Speaking of breads they bring by amazing pastries to your door daily and its suck a nice touch to come back to after a busy day of exploring. We will be back thats for sure!

Excellent experience. Hotel just completed a renovation and everything from the rooms to the landscaping is meticulously maintained. Very comfortable after a day of kayaking and hiking. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant at the hotel - The Three Musketeers - was wonderful. Perfectly cooked fish and lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be recommending and will return. Hotel is also conveniently located downtown, walking access to the kayaking departure point, easy walk to three sisters springs, and many restaurants/shops, and on site parking.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and we both agree that this little hotel was the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. It’s adorable, super clean, beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was amazing and the free parking was an added bonus us! The continental breakfast was perfect and it’s in the best location to all the activities this quaint little town offers. It is walking distance to everything you want, shops, restaurants parks, waterfront. The service was excellent and the added touches of the daily pastries delivered to your room was the icing on the cake! Do not hesitate to book a room here, you will not regret it. The hotel was in the middle of the Crystal River area, and we were able to walk to almost everything. The hotel was clean, roomy, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was great---wish I had it in my house! The added surprise bonus that made it extra special was the croissants left at your door at night! We were so excited to receive them, and they were delicious! Restaurants we enjoyed were Amy's on the Avenue, The Crab Plant, and KC Wine Bistro. The restaurant at the hotel looked inviting and busy, but we didn't try it. We also enjoyed the Manatee Festival and swimming with the manatees with the Fun2Dive tour right down the street! Great stay at Crystal River!
