Holiday Inn Express Crystal River by IHG

Excellent hotel, looks recently renovated. Liked the room's high ceiling, big TV and fast internet connection.|A/C worked OK. Beds were a little too soft for my taste. Nice modern bathroom, shower with high pressure.|Ample parking area, had my car parked 6ft away from my room's window! There is a big heated pool in open area. Small gym. No coffee machine in room but you can get freshly ground coffee 24/7 at the lobby. Breakfast was the best in a long time, hot sausage, omelette that varied day to day with great variety, Noticed some guest stayed with their dog but seems they have specially assigned rooms for this. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

I liked this hotel very much. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. The room was spacious and included a desk and a large TV screen. The bathroom had a fan—an important feature that many hotels, even five-star ones, lack.||The hotel offers a modest exercise room, coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby, and a nice breakfast with many options. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel, as the quality-to-price ratio was very good.

Positive: Always comfortable clean bed. Negative: When we arrived (holiday weekend so probably just lots of trafffic ) there was a wad of hair in the hallway outside our room. Was cleaned up the next day so really not a ding more of a great job to the cleaning staff. Our room was perfect.

This is a very nice hotel central to all the springs around Crystal River! The rooms were clean & quiet, and the pool is heated (tho we didn't get a chance to swim sadly). Tatum at check in was friendly, and helpful in giving us some local food recommendations. The only thing I didn't care for was that our TV only had local stations, so I ended up casting from my phone. Breakfast was a bit hectic, likely due to travel for the manatee festival, but staff was diligent making sure nothing stayed empty for long. I'd definitely stay here again!

I needed emergency accommodation with my two dogs, and General Manager Chale Salzmann was very helpful in arranging our initial stay. We left the hotel two days later, but then that accommodation unexpectedly fell through. I called Chale in a panic and she helped arrange a longer stay for us. The rooms and hotel are very clean with no heavy fragrances, the hot breakfasts quite good, the beds comfortable, and the pet friendliness exemplary, with a very large pet area outside. Chale’s compassion and the kindness of all staff have been greatly appreciated during this very stressful time.
