Paddle Wheel Inn

First time that we stayed there the chair that was in the room closest to the heater had a broken leg my husband's sat on it and it fell over when we talk to management about it miraculously there was no broken chair anymore and the lady that owns the place treated us like we were lying about it that was room 103 we thought we would give it a second chance we stayed in room 101 that room the faucet for the shower/tub the cold water did not work making the shower and tub unusable for us we can't have a scorching hot shower or tub when I brought that to her attention again we were treated like we were lying to her not to mention that over the night there was people banging on the windows and we could not report it to anybody because there is no staff there after 8:00 p.m. it was not a good n

A beautiful location next to the Rock River is the best feature of the hotel. The room was large and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The wifi worked well and there was coffee in the lobby. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and the rooms are not cleaned every day, but neither is my house, haha. There is a bank and two restaurants sharing the parking lot but otherwise nothing is available within walking distance. A quick five minute drive gets you to anywhere in town.

They had the most comfortable bed I slept in for our whole trip!!! Rooms are nice and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Very beautiful area. I definitely want to come back when they have the river boat dinner ride .

The staff was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The rooms are a little dated but were very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony of the river was lovely although the balconies were not really very private. Lots of places to explore nearby and plenty of hiking. I would recommend it as a quiet, restful place to spend a couple of days.

Not my usual type of review for paddle wheel inn. Every year my family and I attend the Autumn on Parade here in Oregon. We started staying at the Paddle Wheel Inn for the weekend of Autumn on Parade a couple of years ago. We really liked the hotel! Unfortunately, a misunderstanding had took place for this year and our rooms were taken away from us within an hour of the receptionist calling. Not only was she not helpful, but she did not explain in the voicemail that our rooms would be given to someone else within a certain amount of time. She called while I was at work so of course I couldn’t answer in time. I called back within 45 minutes and come to find out she had given our rooms that we had booked a YEAR prior to another guest.
