Pacific Marina Inn

I am a travel agent and got stranded at the airport in Honolulu due to an emergency on a plane. I’m giving this hotel a 2 for speedy shuttle convenience. And 10 minutes from airport. Now the hotel, I cannot recommend staying here. Probably built in 60s? Cracked peeling walls, worn out mattresses, worn out bedding, sink wouldn’t drain. Rusty exhaust vent in bathrooms can hear everything in the next room. Overpriced even at lowest price. Elevator filthy. Now if they have nicer rooms on the property I don’t know. My recommendation only if you have no other option and are in a pinch! Drivers were friendly and efficient

Chose this hotel for the local family vibes and no parking fees so we could rent a car and explore the island. Italso right near the tram so easy for public transportation into Waikiki. Excellent price, low key, with mini fridge and microwave in unit and reasonably priced quick shopping right on site. A hidden gem...missed the parking lot the first time around!

Woke up to my bed being wet from dripping water out of air conditioner; literally a puddle of water soaked into the mattress. Showed the employee the wet bed and the water dripping from the air conditioner, which was undeniable to the naked eye and touch. The manager refused to give us an upgrade upon request because the rooms were allegedly full. However, during checkin, she offered to sell us the same upgrades requested. Uploaded Photo shows the owner of the property replying to another customer and encouraging complaint to front desk staff for an upgrade. However, I did this and it was not honored. Manager avoided talking to me directly. Terrible customer service. Stay anywhere else and save yourself the trouble. In the morning checkout, we asked for the shuttle at 7:02am because the

Positive: Proximity to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Negative: Chose this for location and parking. Restaurant was like a club. People outside smoking, blaring music competing with the music thumping inside. I could handle the dirty old room and broken tv, but had to park in a tiny end spot and someone hit my car.

We waited 1.5 hours to get picked up by the shuttle because the Front Desk told us to stay put at the wrong place to wait for the shuttle. Then she had the gall to hang up on us when we called back after waiting for over an hour. When we finally waited at the right place, the woman shuttle driver, didn't get her name, who picked us up was very nice and sympathized with us when we told her our story. When we finally got to the hotel, there was no other customer in front of one of the two Front Desk ladies, but she did not acknowledge us. We waited about 5-10 minutes before she called our name to check us in so she knew exactly who we were. We don't know if this was deliberate or she was busy with paperwork, but "I'll be with you shortly," would've been nice if she couldn’t wait on us i
