OYO Hotel Lake Park/Valdosta I-75, Exit 5

Do your self a favor and don't consider staying here. Motel is old and worn, when I walked in the room, I pulled the chair away from the wall to get comfortable and watch some TV to relax, one of the legs was missing and the chair tilted sideways and the arms were filthy (see pics).||I don't know what was up with the phone, blood or crap, but I didn't touch it one way or another. I was in the night stand draws, no wall jack cord (see pic)||Walls were in good shape but needed to be painted (attached photos).||I inquired about a continental breakfast and the night clerk kinda chucked and said "We don't do that", so I didn't ask about wifi. ||I booked two nights by accident, but was planning on spending two nights there so I just went with the flow. There was not any room service on day two

Got there with 2 children, wanted to stay the night just to rest. But when we got to the room, the bed had been slept in and the whole room smelled BAD. IYKYK. Then when we went to cancel, they said they couldn't right then? Cashier didn't even know how to refund us? And then I now see a we were charged 40 bucks over what was advertised??? Scam scam scam. If I dont get my money back, I will be on a warpath. Unacceptable.

While the service was great, everything in the room felt sticky and I'd bet money the floor every gets cleaned. The bottom of my feet were black and dirty (walking from the shower to the bed). I had to wash my feet again and lay towels down to make it to the bed. NASTY. DISGUSTING.

Sink looked like it had vomit and hair in it. Had a phone on nightstand but wasn't connected to anything. Refrigerator was warm. Nightstand drawer had ashes in it. Microwave wasn't clean. I'm 69 years old and Oyo was probably the worst motel I've ever stayed in.

Please don't stay here, room 101 the door doesn't latch so that's super scary cause with the state of the room I'm wondering if the locals know about it since other reviews mention it as well. The sofa was covered in dried blood. The microwave???? I've never seen anything like it but it's black. The ceiling has black holes that are mold. We couldn't sleep on the covers cause they had white stains all over them, all the sheets were stained and there was a blood stain under the pillows. The pillowcases and pillows were both stained. It's a really scary place and we left immediately and went to the Hampton Inn right up the street cause we had children and I would not let them sit on or touch anything.
