Hampton Inn Valdosta/Lake Park Area

We recently stayed at this Hampton because the original Hampton where we had planned to stay had no rooms available. I am very glad that Hampton was full, because they are great folks at Lake Park which made our stay very enjoyable. When I called to see if they had any rooms available, I spoke to Shea K. She said they had rooms and come on down. I gave her my name and said we would be there soon. When we arrived, Shea greeted me by my name, that was impressive. Shea and Yolanda J., who was also at the front desk, made us feel welcome, like we were family. I appreciate that greeting. We were given a great room, if we hadn't been so tired, we could have enjoyed it more. I told Shea I would be back down to get some coffee and she said she would make some fresh. We arrived late in the afternoon and were greeted by Yolanda who was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice, big room, very clean. Breakfast was hot, we would definitely stay again. The customer service was really top notch from check in to check out.

I am beyond upset with Hampton Inns. I called the number I found online for Hampton Inn to book a room at the Hampton Inn in Valdosta Ga. I am connected with some woman who barely spoke English. She booked me at the wrong Hampton Inn in Valdosta. As she was confirming all the information, I heard her say the wrong address for the Hampton Inn that I wanted. So, I told her that was not the correct address. I told her the address of the Hampton I wanted. She booked me for the correct location. I called later to confirm the incorrect reservation had been cancelled only to find out there is a no refund policy for that room, which I did not agree to. Then when I called Hilton corporate, I find out I was not dealing with Hampton Inn, but with some janky third-party foreign company. WHY CAN'T I DE

Positive: "" Negative: The heater in the room was so loud you couldn?t sleep. It also gave off a smell of an open sewer.

Such amazing service. Room was just ok, but exceptional people. Checked in late after a broken down car and Micheal at the front desk was very helpful giving us places we can get it fixed at. The next morning left my AirPod in the room and panicked. The staff was very helpful and actually helped look for it and found it! Best service I’ve seen in a while!
