Baymont by Wyndham Lake Park Valdosta I75

Update 1/27/26 Several hours after this post, I went to an Urgent Care Facility to have bug bites looked at. They confirmed they were bed bugs. Both my husband and I had bites. They were worse on me. Our friends who were traveling with us and stayed there were OK, so beware. The hotel was contacted, and to date I have only been contacted by Wyndham, not by the hotel itself. Still waiting for a refund on the room. 1/18/26 Friendly accommodating staff. Clean, comfortable beds. Great for one night and if you’re packing light. Rooms are small and there is no canopy over main door to load and unload out of the weather. Breakfast not conducive for diabetics or if into high protein diet. Otherwise Good value for the price.

The young man working night shift on feb friday the 13th was extremely proficient and courteous. Stayed at every highway hotel in this country pretty much and never been able to get to bed as quick as this one. He should be promoted because anyone with that much sense and hustle should be running things.

The king room (216) with a walk in shower was nice and clean! |The young man at the desk last night was very nice and loved to talk as much as me!! We both love dogs and playing games! BTW this hotel is dog friendly! |The breakfast is not for a low carb person (diabetic etc) It's was adequate with ceral, begals, fruit , oatmeal and juice. Coffee also.|Cracker Barrel is in the parking lot. Also the hotel is a block from the I-75 entrance! |We had a quick stay for the night now we are headed out again!

I’m a man of very few words but this motel only saving grace is it’s quiet. The sheets are old and worn, towels are old and filthy. you can see thru the towels. and every room has humidifiers in the room and outside of n the hallway and breakfast area. I asked why when I checked in only to be lied to. I later found out that this hotel was hit by hurricane storm in 2024. Instead of taking he insurance money and repairing the water soaked rooms, they spent the money on humidifiers. I’m sure if that nasty carpet was removed, it would be MOlD. Also, a 16 year old boy that looks old like a man works at the front desk and didn’t know how to check me in, he had to call someone. Pete is the name he goes by is not to be trusted. He lies profusely. Initially, he stated that he worked 8 hr shifts the

Positive: "" Negative: The room was VERY musty smelling. There was a hurricane and the rooms were compromised, but this room should NOT have been used! It was terrible. But, no other rooms were available! Won?t stay there ever again!
