OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel

first time in Hawai’i from New Zealand! me and my partner stayed here in February for 10 nights and had the most wonderful experience! The location is excellent, opposite the cheesecake factory and Waikiki beach, surrounded by shopping centres with access to many stores like target which had all the groceries we needed. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, from the concierge, check in staff, cleaners, everyone was delightful, happy and willing to help up however we needed, shoutout to Dave the concierge, he was so friendly and helpful to us on our first day and made it known we could go to him for any advice we needed for our stay as he would be happy to help us! We booked a partial ocean view room but were upgraded for free to a proper ocean view room! We had a view of Waikiki Beach

My family are currently staying here and it’s been a wonderful experience! Kristina checked us in at the front desk and was super friendly, kind, and helpful with our sleeping toddler. The bell desk team were also super helpful and kind while assisting with our luggage. The hotel location is excellent, the rooms are modern, and everything is super close even for Waikiki standards. We ran into the floor housekeeper, Taciana, who was also super sweet and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. We received breakfast vouchers for the cafe which we took advantage of and it was great! Having stayed at other resorts in the area as well as luxury accommodations, I can confidently say the Beachcomber staff and service are excellent choices and I highly recommend booking a room here!

Really enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast that included was great, but just wish there was more variety. Pool chairs can fill up quickly. Pool is nice as it is heated. We were in a room on a lower floor and I could hear some industrial fans outside that made it a bit difficult to sleep (I am a light sleeper). Minutes away from the beach and location is right where the action is. Would recommend and would stay again, just in a room higher up that is quiet.

Nice, well maintained hotel. Close to the mall and the beach. The swimming pool is nice but really small.The only minus are windows and views. Partial view actually had no view, windows are not closing normally so all the rumors from the street as well as fans from other buildings... Are pretty noisy.
