Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort

I booked the outrigger beachcomber by mistake. when we arrived we realized we were on the wrong side of the street. I thought I had booked the Wiakiki Beach Resort. this was new year’s eve and hotels were so full. we ended up walking over to the outrigger wiakiki Beach Resort and they were so kind. i had an agent on the phone and a lady at the checkin desk both trying to help. somehow we got a room and were able to stay the week we had planned with an ocean view balcony. the other hotel was awesome also. i had booked through hotels.con and they gave me a refund for the beachcomber. this wiakiki beach hotel is so convenient to restaurants and shopping. we had teenagers with us that loved it as well. i did laundry, we sat by the pool and rented umbrella and chairs on the beach. i

I recently stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. Our room featured an absolutely amazing ocean view that was easily the highlight of our trip. The housekeeping team was fantastic, and every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the thoughtful in-room perks, like the complimentary reusable water bottles and the beach bag, which were incredibly handy for our daily outings. The resort’s location is also hard to beat, with endless shopping and dining options right at your doorstep, and Guest Services made booking our activities a breeze. I first want to say that the staff at this hotel are excellent. Everyone is cheerful and happy to help in every way. The food is exceptional and very fairly priced for the Waikiki area. The hotel is extremely noisy currently.(February 2026) The hotel is going under what they call improvements, but are really Very noisy renovations from 8 AM to 3 PM every day. We also had No water at all in our room for several hours twice during our one week stay. I think the public should be told about this. It is very disruptive for families with small children and in our case as we are seniors, we really can't enjoy being in our room at those times during the day. Positive: The resort was beautiful and location was excellent l. Negative: For the price paid, the wallpaper and furniture needs replacing. It's was old and outdated.
