Orchard Hill - Boutique Hotel

We had such a great stay in Julian! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They truly made us feel right at home. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. Everything about our experience was wonderful. This is our favorite spot in Julian, and we can’t wait to come back again!

A warm cozy lounge with a beautiful fire greeted us as we came in for a night stay. The lounge was very welcoming and it was wonderful to have an open fire in the beautiful fireplace. Happy hour snacks with meats and cheeses are available 4-5:30pm. |Johnathan’s cottage has king size bed and comfortable seating area with remote-controlled fireplace! 😎

We had the pleasure of bringing our team over to Julian for an overnight stay for our 2025 holiday event. I have stayed at Orchard Hill before and thought it would be enjoyable for our team to spend a weekend there. Just as before, it was a first-class experience in the mountains. The phone service in booking an entire floor was seamless and professional; all of the team's questions were responded to promptly and positively. The rooms were very well kept, the fact that every room is different made for a most interesting weekend, as we compared the different rooms we all had. The hotel is immaculately clean and well-kept. We love Orchard Hill and the staff is wonderful. They helped us with dinner reservations and our room was wonderful. Their muffins, fruit and coffee personally delivered in a picnic basket were a sweet touch and their happy hour charcuterie is quite delicious. We will be back.

Orchard Hill was EXACTLY what we had hoped for! It was a beautiful place with rooms in sort of a cabin layout, private, cozy and in the heart of Julian! I would gladly stay here again!!!! I booked through Hotels.com, which yes, it is Expedia, but I still had some points left from when it was not a part of Expedia and it was a FABULOUS program back then. Anyway, I had lots of issues with Expedia for this reservation, won't go into the details as I would end up writing a book, but they are not customer-focused at all. However, after gettting very frustrated with Expedia's customer service, I figured I could try calling the hotel directly to see if they could fix what Expedia wouldn't and IMMEDIATELY, Becky at Orchard Hill was able to help me in less than five minutes!
