Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa

This resort is by far the best I have experienced in the United States. It is gorgeous, majestic, historic, cozy and welcoming. The service is out of this world. The smiles on the staff add so much warmth and goodwill. The rooms take you back to high class 1940. The views are breathtaking. I live 2 hours away from here but I feel like I am on vacation as soon as I step foot into this castle.

Although we didn’t stay here since it’s not really in our budget, every time we come to this area, Bretton Woods is always perfect walk around and go get a drink and snack out on the porch after a hike. They are very welcoming to people who are coming in their hiking gear! Very helpful and friendly staff. The Nordic center is also great for winter and has a wonderful trail system.

Positive: The ambiance, the historical parts, wish I had time for the tour and the hot tub! We also enjoyed the restaurant dishes. I enjoyed breakfast at Stickney and they gave us coffee vouchers for joining the Omni hotel program there. Negative: Yes, they charged us for Valet parking after we self-parked. I had to ask them to adjust. They should have a better tracking system since they have three parking options and someone could get cheated after doing a lot of hard work to avoid the extra $.

Two words: simply iconic. If you're considering the Omni Mt. Washington Resort for your wedding venue, book it! I've been photographing weddings for 15 years, and this property is one of the most iconic in all of New England. The architecture alone is stunning - the grand historic building sits against the White Mountains and the view never gets old. The famous wraparound porch is a photographer's (and guest's) dream and one of the best spots on the property for portraits. It's also a covered porch, which means no matter the forecast, you'll get beautiful photos! The resort has a warmth and character that newer venues just can't replicate, and the scale of it means there's always something beautiful happening in every direction. We booked a room in the presidential wing at the Omni Mount Washington for our 49th wedding anniversary in November. When we arrived we were greeted by a wonderful staff. The property is gorgeous and there was a lot to do and beautiful views to see. My husband and I thank you all for the special treatment we received during our stay. Also the room was beyond our expectations, the upgrade was unbelievable, more than we could have imagined. Thank you all for making our anniversary memorable.💖
