Olde Harbour Inn, Historic Inns of Savannah

This is an outstanding place to stay in the Historic District. It deserves its top 'pet friendly' rating. The accommodations are top notch. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The location between Emmet Park and River Street makes it super convenient.||We were shocked at the size of our room - it basically was a small apartment - separate kitchen and spacious bedroom plus long hallway. Super cool historic layout. Excellent for multiple day stays.||The afternoon wine/cheese spread was ample and a nice way to meet fellow travelers - like a B&B.||Coffee/juice/water/soda in the lobby area available all day.||Also appreciated is a single pet fee per stay (not per night).||||PS: This isn't a place you should stay if you're not mobile - most of the property has to be accessed b

We have made many trips to Savannah and have stayed in some really neat places but this river front balcony with river view room topped them all. It's a registered historic place with creaky wood floors, dove tailed wood collums and shiplap ceilings. This is our kind of stay! Watching the cargo ships pass in what feels like arms reach is very cool. This pet friendly place has a very large green space just out front. Our room had a king on the main floor and a queen in an open loft area. The staff is also super nice and booked us right away just minutes before arriving. We like to wing it when we travel. And Kevin is a beast and will carry all your luggage if you don't jump in... literally at once lol! Thank you!

This place exceeded our expectations. They constantly go out of their way to ensure you are taken care of. Endless bottles of water and other beverages. The charm of the place is breathtaking and you can NOT beat the location. Major bonus they have parking there. Thats a rare find in savannah. If we ever get the chance to go back we will stay here. The only downside was the mattress. They need to be upgraded not as comfortable ad some others. But after all the walking dont worry youll sleep fine 😴. They give you ear plugs in case its noisy and a sound machine which I never travel without mine so I appreciated that they had one in the room.

We chose OHI due to the reputation of it being haunted. Hank, the local ghost, did not disappoint. Upon arrival you travel down a cobblestone Rollercoaster that I think caused slight whiplash. After a sketchy jaunt down a back lane we found the hotel and parking area. ||||Check-in was a breeze. Nate was lovely and gave us some tips to avoid a lot of steep stairs. There are no elevators or inside stairs. You must reach the 4th floor by a set of metal stairs outside that are wet and freezing cold in the winter. If you have mobility issues maybe check out a different hotel. ||||But then you would miss the stunning apartment style rooms. Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. The heater worked very well and the room was nice and toasty when we returned. The beds are a little lump
