Old Man's Cave Campground

This campground is well taken care of. It is situated in Hocking Hills, a secluded and special place in Ohio. There are hillls, great trails, caves, and waterfalls of varied difficulties.

Nice place to go to with a camper,trailer, or even just a tent. Has electric and areas for kids too. They have firewood there and each lot has it own fire pit.

The campground is decent, but there’s room for improvement. While one of the bath and shower rooms has been upgraded, the other remains quite old. There’s a shortage of flushing toilets, but they do have a pool. The campsites are closely situated, offering little privacy. However, the Sherman cabin 2 we stayed in was lovely, featuring a spacious living room and dining area. It’s nestled against a wooded area, providing easy access to the lake at the back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great area, but small spots and close together. Was there for the local attractios, so we did not really care about the site sizes. Very short trail hike to old man caves from our site. The climb back was tough.

Oh my, this is bougie for a state park campground. We stayed in 65 (full hook-up) on the cul-de-sac and it was a HUGE site. It's a bit hairy getting up the hill to the campground but it was well worth the drive. This was in off-season (start of November) and the ladybugs were crazy bad but it was beautiful and convenient!
