Ocean View Hotel

When we visit LA, we always stay at the Ocean View Hotel. The location is great: right across the street from the ocean, and less than a block away from the entrance to the Santa Monica pier. It's also surrounded by restaurants and just a couple of blocks from the Third Street promenade, a pedestrian shopping and dining area. The hotel is clean and the service is great. Heidi at the front desk is very helpful and informative. She always thanks us for returning to the Ocean View and makes us feel so welcome. Thank you, Heidi and the staff at the Ocean View. We'll be back!

Ocean view is a small hotel in a great location right in front of the park on ocean drive in Santa Monica. Hotel is on a smaller side but good enough for a small family stay and hotel staff and attendants are nice and helpful. Pros: Location, staff, ambiance and surroundings Cons: Small rooms, floors needed cleaning, the open side could be noisy at night

Positive: View from the balcony. Negative: Very poor water pressure. Some need for repair to grout/caulk in shower and some rust under sink.

My stay at Ocean View Hotel was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Valet parking was super convenient, quick, secure, and hassle-free in a busy area. Best of all was the room with the stunning view of the Santa Monica Pier and ocean from the private balcony. Perfect location for beach vibes and pier fun also only about 40 minuets from the heart of the city. Highly recommend—5 stars!

Omg so much gratitude for this hotel. My daughter-in-law and son spend the day before and after their wedding at Ocean View and the staff could not have been more amazing! Their first room was 113 and in the morning of the wedding, their room was transformed into a glam room in minutes for the bride and her party with the help of their staff. We had not expected that and were blown away! The make up and hair artist had all she needed to get the bride ready and the bridesmaids also. They gave them a beautiful snack platter with flowers and balloons. They then upgraded them to an ocean view room as a gift. Again another gorgeous basket and flowers and balloon. It was simply amazing and made the day even more special and stress free. Thank you Theresa, Eva, Mario and Ashley and the housekeep
