Ocean Resort

I walked into a room that already felt welcoming, warm, calm, and immediately relaxing. Waking up to the sound and view of waves crashing into the shore was the kind of detail you do not forget, especially when the Virginia Beach oceanfront is right there waiting for you. Even though the hotel sits on the busy Virginia Beach boardwalk, the room itself was surprisingly peaceful and quiet, perfect for actually resting, not just staying overnight. The staff were genuinely accommodating without being overbearing, which made the stay feel easy and comfortable. For the price, I honestly cannot say a bad thing. The photos are accurate, but the room is even better in person.

So I Visit this place with a paid reservation and they refused me service because I had a dog. So I asked for a refund. She told me to reach out to booking And they will contact them and they would approve the refund. This lady declined the refund knowing she basically stole my money. Please be careful paying before going to trashy places like this with no honesty, and is all about money and greed. Thanks to hilton I still enjoyed my trip after being mistreated by this dirty company and a more up to date room with staff that actually has great customer service skills.

•The service was friendly •My partner and I had to go down stairs to explain that we found the room dirty and asked for the vacuum cleaner so for the cut Neals and pills that were around on the floor.~The Vacuum was broken tho.＞the view of the beach was great.＜no food included.＜The tub got clogged when I was taking it a shower.＜the walls were a little thin, you might hear noises from the other rooms next to you.＞We knew what we were getting tho.We might go back there if we don’t have any other choice. 👍 it’s a solid 6.5/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️to be kind.

We have stayed here probably 20 times over the years and it was always our favorite place to stay in VAB but this time was awful. While packing to check out I found a bedbug in a dresser drawer. I called the desk and was told the manager would contact me. Two hours later, I tracked her down at the hotel office. She acted like she doubted me. I showed her the squashed bug on a tissue. She stated that she would order an inspection, which would take a few days and that if bugs were found she would possibly refund part of my money. I wasn’t asking for a refund. I was asking for help to avoid an infestation at home. She stated that the laundry could wash our clothes but that was the only help she would offer. This would not resolve the issue with suitcases, tote bags, cooler bags, shoes, etc. F

My husband and I stayed this past weekend and were very pleased. The staff was top notch at the desk and in housekeeping. The bed was so comfortable. I haven't slept that good in a long time. The elevators were in good shape. It got us from floor 1 to floor 8 in no time. The room was clean as well. And the view was amazing. I give this place a 9. Only because it could be updated a touch other than that it would be a 10. We will definitely be back.
