Oasis Inn Tacoma near JBLM

Where do I even start?! Hmm... Getting into our room the smell of cigarettes was impossible to not be noticed, I had to leave the ac extremely high and cold so we could be able to stay in the room. We checked the smoke alarm and it was dead, which made sense. Our bed sheets and comforter had cigarette burns. The bed was a queen, but we ordered a king. The room would have been fine if it wasn't for the smell. This place is extremely sketchy, THE WERE 3 CARS THAT WERE SMASHEE IN, all in 1 night. A police officer was called by one of the victims, my husband talked to him and he said that there are a ton of vehicles stolen and broke in at the oasis inn tacoma hotel. The staff rapidly cleaned all the broken glas from the parking lot so other people wouldn't see it. Oh, and the breakfast is not

Clean rooms, quiet place, friendly staff. We had a pleasant stay. The people around the place look shady but otherwise it was a good stay. No water fountain so less stars for that.

Keep your heads low! We booked a room for 2 + child in August 2024 and found the room walls riddled with bullet holes from a shotgun, and parts of the wall all over the carpet and bed sheets. In that moment the strong stench of cigarette smoke did not seem so relevant anymore (rooms are supposed to be non-smoker).

Thanks to most high for this place and what they are doing for me from my I.D to helping me find a place to stay also giving me a place to live now I'm from a another state snd I thank God for this place and staff Happy New Year and God bless us all to be better in this new year then we where in our last

Classic example of you get what you pay for! Hubby and so are in town for a concert at the dome, and not wanting (or needing) a fancy place to stay, but we were not prepared for how sketchy this place was. Full disclosure that I did not read any reviews before I booked. Hindsight: I should have! Broken light, sink refuses to drain, tv won’t work, no cups for coffee, random outside doors open (for “dog walkers”), outlets don’t work and look like fire hazards, no free breakfast. Luckily we were only there for about 12 hours and our car was not vandalized. It was easy and quick to get to the dome for the concert, and we slept ok, but we won’t be staying there again.
