Emerald Queen Casino and Hotel

Had so much fun here! Played up and down for hours. Lost a little money last time but was worth the entertainment of the slots. This time stayed several hours…too many…but walked away with a little extra, which hardly ever happens anywhere post Covid. Ate at the cafe and was really impressed with the menu choices, food, and service! Recommend if you are in the area or are willing to drive a few extra miles.

Emerald Queen casino has a potential to be really really fun, it just has a few issues that hold it from being a super desirable venue. One of the biggest issues is trying to find parking ; it is a real hassle. To try to do that with the way the structure is and as busy as it is,, it's almost as if the parking was too small for the facility. If there was some way to make it a little more efficient, that would be a big plus for the hotel. I know they had valet parking for a while and went away from that and that greatly disappoints me because valet parking is such a huge plus to starting the experience for a place like this. I hate leaving reviews like this but I have to be honest in my experience. I used to come to this casino with my family. We would hit the buffet and gamble as well. You could always play for a few hours with $100-$200. We always had a good time. This new casino has been nothing but the opposite of my previous experience. You can come in with $200 and in about 15 minutes nothing will have happened. This is not just one experience, I have gone back and it's just not the same anymore. The slots are so much tighter than they were before. Probably to fund this new, opulent casino. I feel like everything was done with how much money they could make and not at all considering the guest and offering them a good time. Worst casino to gamble at in Washington. Started frequenting eqc after moving to Tacoma and the RTP is the worst I've ever experienced. The money goes fast. After weekly trips here for nearly a year, I had to stop. They don't reward players either, the freeplay they offer is laughable and comps are just as bad. I go to Muckleshoot now and they give me 3x the free play and fully comp rooms for less than a third of what I gambled at eqc. Your money isn't gone in two hours either. Eqc bartenders are great though and the only reason I occasionally go back. Edit: I'd give this place a zero if I could. We stayed at the Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel for a 3 night stay. Parking was free and plenty of available spots. The staff was extremely kind, outgoing and welcoming. Both the hotel and casino were very clean and well kept. There is plenty of security to feel safe and secure. I can not wait to stay there again next year and have recommended this hotel to everyone!(:
