Oak Hill Inn and Suites

I’ll be real, when we were told this was where we’d be staying, I panicked. This place had the worst reputation for drugs and crime. The first night I pushed a dresser in front of the door 😆 Then I met the owner, Kevin, and I felt so much safer. His handyman, Austin, and housekeeper, Carolyn, were the kindest people! They were all so quick to help my daughter and I fell safe. We have stayed one month and are sad to leave. This place has amazing lighting at night and cameras on property. I can say, being a Tahlequah native, this place is reformed and not terrifying at all. Would recommend.

We booked through hotels.com based on a friends previous stay, that must have been ages ago! Before our arrival we were 'upgraded' free by the manager. Upon arrival the manager checked us in and was very off. When we went to our room we were immediately hit with horrible smells when we opened our door. We began checking the room and quickly found it hadn't been cleaned in Lord knows how long! The hide a bed should be out in the parking lot and burned. (It's already been burned by cigarettes in a non smoking room). The beds appeared clean so we decided to try and tuff it out. Huge mistake! When we came back after our day events, the room smelled even worse! Housekeeping did not come by and p.o it out clean towels and the office was locked before 5pm. The new owners are doing an amazing job with this property. Mark the manager is very nice and on top of any needs. Such sweet maid service. I can’t express how grateful I am for this motel. The new owner ( Kevin ) has gone beyond caring for this place. It’s stil in renovations but I highly recommend checking this place out

I stayed Jan 28, first room had 2 dead roaches on floor they kindly moved me to a seemingly better room. I didn't initially see anything to be concerned with. I layed in bed for no more than 10 minutes, I felt something crawl over my hand, I jumped up to investigate. What I found was a huge roach, IN THE BED!!! I ended up taking the few things I brought in and decided to sleep in my truck. I personally will never go back there again.

I've been here for 2 months and it's been great. New owners and the man̈ager here think Mark is always asking if I need anything clean room and the house keeping is always nice. Recommend to anyone.
