War Eagle Resort

My husband and I had an amazing Labor Day weekend at War Eagle! We brought our camper and were amazed by the wonderful locations to park it. The river was in our back yard! It was so peaceful to wake up in the morning and have coffee at the picnic table and look at the river. We enjoyed it so much that we kept extending our trip. We ended up staying 4 days longer because we didn't want to leave. Pam (the owner) and her staff were so nice and accommodating which made us feel like family. We will be back soon!!

I camped in the camping area and I absolutely loved everything they had to offer. We were able to put our campsite right by the water, and had river access a few steps away. The bath house was well stocked and very clean and kept up, which was a very pleasant surprise. I 100% would stay an entire summer if I was able to. Definitely check them out!

This was my first trip to war eagle and it definitely won’t be my last! We stayed in one of the motel rooms, and it was super clean and comfy! We had a group of 32 spread between the motel and the bunkhouses. The staff was so organized and helpful, the store had all the essentials you may have forgotten, and the on site food truck had some great food! I can’t wait to go back next summer, or maybe even before they close floating for this year!

We come to War Eagle Resort every year for our family's annual kayaking trip, and it never disappoints. The accommodations are perfect for our family, offering clean and comfortable lodging that serves as a great home base for our adventures.
