NU Hotel Brooklyn

I had a wonderful stay at Nu Hotel Brooklyn! The staff were genuinely courteous and always ready to help, which made me feel right at home. My room was spotless and tastefully decorated. I especially loved the quirky, colorful hallways—they added so much personality and fun to the whole experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that’s both comfortable and full of Brooklyn charm!

Great stay, spacious rooms and nice location in Brooklyn. Breakfast was great as well! Free rental bikes are available, highly recommend using them!

I was in the lobby during a busy breakfast rush and Christy handled multiple guests, an interruption, and a missing-item inquiry with calm professionalism. She remained respectful, organized, and attentive to everyone without losing composure. Her ability to de-escalate tension and still assist each guest efficiently made the environment feel calm and well-managed. Excellent customer service!!

On arrival at the hotel on New Years Day we were informed that there was no hot water. Hot water had been out for three days already. We were given the option to cancel for refund or stay at full cost. We were given an email address for a manager. After some fuss at the front desk, given the scarcity of options for a pet friend hotel we decided to stay. We were able to find a cheaper room so we downgraded to save some dollars. We read a review from another guest who was offered $28/night as compensation. This seems paltry for no hot water in winter. As of time of writing we have no response from management. I have reported to the NYC authorities through 311. Front desk refuses to give a phone number for management and seems totally unequipped to deal with a situation which has been going o

Other than location, I would not recommend. Booked your hotel for wedding/ the room was adequate, a little dated. My main complaint is with customer service. I booked my room through my nephews wedding website well in advance of the deadline for special rate for a reserved block of rooms. For some reason, my reservation was not within the block of rooms . I realized at check-in I was being charged significantly more. The hotel offered me a discounted rate (after waiting in the lobby for 90 min) but flatly refused to honor the block rate. It wasn’t a significant amount of money and was a poor reflection on how the hotel values its guests. I will not be returning to any of their hotels.
