Nova Hotel

I love Nova Brooklyn. The service and rooms are always on point. Cleanliness is important to me when I book a stay and my room was spacious and clean. Also, checking in is always rapid and smooth. Sam, who works at the front desk has amazing customer service. She always greets you with a smile. If you are visiting Brooklyn, I recommend NOVA!

The location in brooklyn has delis nearby so it is easy to find something to eat. Breakfast was included but very basic..it was nice to have it included though. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. It was nice having a balcony to smoke.

I stayed at Nova Hotel in Brooklyn and overall had a great experience for the price and location. The check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room had everything I needed comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, mini-fridge, and complimentary water which made it easy to relax after exploring the city.  The hotel’s design feels modern and clean, and being right in the heart of Brooklyn made it super convenient for grabbing food, hopping on the subway, or checking out the nightlife nearby.  The only real downsides were that the rooms are a bit on the smaller side (pretty typical for NYC), and there isn’t an on-site restaurant, so you’ll be heading out for most meals. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anybody. Though the service was good and the location was good, it was impossible to feel comfortable while in the room. To start, don't even bother taking your shoes off, the floors are dirty and sticky (see photo of my sock after walking on it). Second, make sure to check your bed because ours was broken and completely sunk in the middle to the point that it was unusable. This is the part where I think the service was good because once I realized the bed was broken, I asked to switch rooms and they immediately accommodated us. Unfortunately, even though the new bed was good, the floors on the second room were still just as sticky. I don’t typically write reviews. I never thought I’d write a negative review. But this is the review I wish I’d read before I booked a night at this hotel. |The absolute most basic requirement for any hotel is a decent bed. This is by far the most uncomfortable bed I’ve EVER slept in. I tried to sleep but I kept falling into the abyss that is the middle of the bed. I was laying on a 45 degree angle all night holding onto the edge of the mattress. It was awful. It’s morning now and I’m tired and my back hurts.|Oh, there’s more. |The toilet seat was broken and didn’t fit on the toilet bowl. (Too small).
