This is the worst hotel I have stayed in during my homeless journey!!! Broken fixtures in the shower!!! No roller for the toilet tissue!!! Shower heads RUSTY FROM 40 YEARS AGO!!! Television doesn't work. No washcloths in the bathroom. In a room of deluxe only one towel and one washcloth per another guest who was ready to get back to Indiana. The vending machines don't work. Loud guests. The ice machines on all 3 floors have been broken for 2 months per the head of maintenance!!! The crazy part is for it to be a RUN DOWN DIRTY HOTEL THEY STAY BUSY🤔!!!
Our experience was mixed. Upon arrival, parking was not clearly marked, and the automatic door sensor did not appear to be working, as the doors did not open when we approached. The check-in process was slow, and while the receptionist was not rude, they were not particularly welcoming. There was also a Spanish-speaking guest ahead of me, and the receptionist was unable to understand him, which was surprising given the Miami location. The room itself was generally clean, and the bed was neatly made. However, the bathroom floor was wet when we arrived, which was unpleasant. The pillows were very uncomfortable and small, and on a cold night, the blanket provided was not warm enough. Check-out was also problematic. There was no receptionist at the desk for an extended period. One staff member
Unfortunately, the experience was far below acceptable standards. I am requesting a refund or appropriate rate adjustment but the works basically laughed at me for attempting. Upon arrival, the key to our assigned room did not work. After my husband retrieved a second set of keys—which also failed—a staff member ultimately had to escort us into the room. Given the late hour, we decided to remain despite the inconvenience. However, once inside, we encountered several serious issues: - Most concerning, a set of master keys—capable of accessing all rooms—had been left inside our room - Dirty towels left in the room - Blood or lipstick stains visible on the walls - A non‑functional television - A non‑functional room phone, preventing contact with the front desk (we tried calling the hotel from
Where to start?? We read we needed to call to let them know of late check in day of arrival due to our flight time. We emailed, called over 45 times between two of us from all times of the day. Never was answered, just rang and rang and no machine to leave a message. We arrive to only 1 person working with about 8 people in front of us. It took 90 mins to get checked in, while waiting/observing the lobby we realized the pictures online are NOT what this hotel looks like. They used AI, photoshop, or pictures from first built when at one time was probably a beautiful hotel. It was run down, dirty, still had COVID items up and around. After check in we read the elevator sign of no more than 4 people. Scary, while the other elevator reads out of order. We are tired and just want a place to lay
I thought I'd seen it all, but I've never stayed in a hotel as run down as this. Front door to the hotel didn't work, elevator didn't work, hotel room key card didn't work TWICE. The room itself was wild. A filthy table that was covered in dozens of baby spiders, a toilet that you had to take the back off of to flush every time, mysterious stains on literally everything. The only pros were the ac worked and the bed wasn't that bad. We booked two nights but only ended up staying one. The fact that they're charging nearly $200 a night for this is criminal lol. This was a $75 a night hotel at best.
