DoubleTree Resort & Spa by Hilton Hotel Ocean Point - North Miami Beach

The hotel appears to be very nice and, in many ways, it certainly is. The rooms were fantastically spacious and that was awesome. We had a two bedroom suite with two queen beds in one room and one king in the other room. The views were fantastic! The restaurant on the ground floor was nice for breakfast with decent food and good service. We did have a few issues that left us with a less-than-stellar impression overall. The elevators were very slow. The front door seemed a little rickety that seemed less secure than we've been used to from Hilton. Small details like soap in the shower dispenser and we had to ask for coffee pods to be replaced in the room were small annoyances. Late checkout was unavailable. Valet service, while efficient, was the only option for parking.

This hotel is quite literally my home away from home. The rooms are spacious & clean & newly renovated. The standout is definitely the amazing staff particularly Maylen. She is not only the sweetest but takes any concerns you may have very seriously & makes sure you are happy & taken care of. I am going back with my husband again in two weeks & look forward to spending New Years Eve there! 10/10

Positive: My girlfriend and I were traveling from NY to Miami. We ended up getting a part view for our room. The room didn’t have any hot water. The staff upgraded us to a suite. Hotel employee ( can’t remember her name) was great. We loved beach manager& the boys! Negative: ""

Decent accommodations. As per usual for the area overpriced drinks. Ok food selection. The outside bar closes way to early. There were no ice machines on the floor we were on (did not check other floors) when asked for ice my cup was filled by a staff member. Valet and bartenders were great and so were the staff at the lobby check-in/out desk. Prepare to wait for the elevators. We waited almost 12 minutes at one time, and for the most part it was at least a 4 minute wait minimum, then you had to hope there wasn't more than 4 or 5 people or you waiting again!

The location on sunny isles beach in Miami is probably the best part about the stay here. Our room also had a direct view of the beach with a very spacious balcony. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they would help us set up the lounge chairs on the beach, and would even offer beach floats. There’s a bar next to the pool and spa area and the prices for that are also decent. Even if you make a mess, the rooms do get a thorough cleaning everyday at around the same time. You can also get free complimentary cookies everyday which is neat since this was the first time I’ve seen anything like that. The only problem I’d say I had was when I stayed here on dec 16-21 the elevator wasn’t working and we had to wait a couple of hours until it was running again and there was only one working a
