North Country Cabin

The cabin was wonderful, comfortable, and just what I needed. It is down a long road and is relatively secluded; I saw 1 4x4 and 1 jogger during my 6 night stay. Since my trip was to get away from the hustle-and-busstle, I liked that a lot. The location can’t be beat. It is about 10-15 minutes from Munisng, which leads into Picture Rock and surrounding waterfalls. There is a private lake area, but there was so much to do within an hour drive that I was too busy to even spend time there. I highly recommend!

4 of us spent a winter weekend exploring Pictured Rocks and XC skiing at nearby Valley Spur and McKeever ski areas. A perfect location for quick access for both and also into nearby Munising. The cabin is just the right size for 4, with comfy beds and a cozy wood burning fireplace. Kitchen is well furnished and had all we needed to prepare our meals. It is a simple, comfy cabin and met our needs perfectly. I would recommend having all wheel drive. The road to the cabin was never cleared of snow.

Very nice place. Close to pictured rocks! Good price too. Need to move Google maps marker though.... about 5 miles off.
