North Charleston Marriott

I honestly wasnt expecting much from this hotel when I booked it because I just needed a place to stay near the airport. But wow, I was really blown away after visiting. The inside looks brand new and recently remodeled. The room and bed were awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar was great. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel. The Front desk manager was great!

Enjoyed our stay. A typical Marriott hotel, smelled awesome and our room was clean. I usually clean the tub and lysol the floors, room, tv remote, etc. I actually didn't see any residue from cleaning the tub which was a pleasant surprise. We didn't eat breakfast but was told $18 surcharge. Loved the ambience of the place, several places to sit and gather outside of the room. The firepit was lit in the courtyard. Parking is a $10 surcharge for self-parking for a uncovered lot. I dnt understand why hotels with their own parking lots are charging to park now. We had it waived another site shows the hotel has free parking...3miles from the airport but we didn't hear the rain or planes. Down the street from Tanger oulets/sams club/ walmart, Chipotle, chickfila, and Culver. Not a walkable prope

Pros: To my surprise, the M Club lounge was operational and provided pre-packaged snacks, fruits (bananas, apples, oranges), and beverages (coffee, tea, soda, bottled water). Cons: I was provided the Junior Suite via suite night reward redemption. I liked that it had 1.5 bathrooms, but I didn't like that I was an accessible room and that it had a connecting door to a neighboring room. When guests and/or housekeeping where in there, we can hear everything from drawers opening/closing to normal volume talking. It seemed as if they were speaking inside our room! Over the 4 nights of our stay, there were neighboring guests for 2 of the nights - so we didn't bother to request a new room. I never leave a review regardless and usually keep to myself but room was dirty and beat up. Just some photos attached of water and other miscellaneous damage. was not clean at all and very worn out hotel. photos posted by brand are either highly doctored or extremely old...

Spent 4 days (like 24 hours a day for 4 days) here for a conference. The employees here are incredible. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the front desk to the banquet team were all SUCH a pleasure to interact with and so kind. I would highly recommend this hotel. (The rooms are great too!!)
