Hyatt Place Virginia Beach / Oceanfront

I arrived to the hotel and everything seems good till i got to the room and was given city view after paying for ocean view. The room i chose was much bigger than the crammed together trippable space given. I decided i would just deal with it since i arrived late and was exhausted. I slept only 2 hours before being blaired awake by false alarm fire alarms. Deciding breakfast might help my irritation, that was crap as well. The flavor and texture of the food couldnt even be doctored by salt pepper or anything else so i went without breakfast my whole stay. Getting attitude at the front desk for my valet service was uncalled for. The only part of hyatt place that i appreciate being quick and convenient are the employees driving in the valet service. Unfortunately, our stay ended on a very disappointing note due to excessive noise and a lack of effective intervention. On our final night, a neighboring guest played extremely loud music, loudly rapping along as if recording in a studio. The disturbance began around 9:00 PM, when my fiancé and I returned from dinner. We initially tried to be patient, assuming the noise would subside within an hour. It did not.||||The music continued late into the night and into the early morning hours. Around 10:00 PM, I contacted hotel staff, who did come to the room and ask the guest to lower the volume. While the music was briefly reduced, it resumed almost immediately after staff left. Given that this was an adjoining room, greater care should have been taken to ensure the issue was fully resolved and

Best hotel experience and as the Goldielocks of beds it was comfortable. Check in was easy. Luked that they had valet. We planned to only leave once we checked out. Rooms were clean and spacious. We lucked up a caught a 70 degree day and was able to enjoy the balcony. Away from the busier side of the oceanfront. A pizza place we wanted to try was a 4 min walk away. The breakfast was great and had many options and plenty of places to sit. We were able to call ahead to have our car waiting upon checkout. The only issue I had was the ac kept cutting off and caused us to toss and turn.

My family and I stayed at this location for valentines weekend. When we arrived service was good and the room was nice and clean but our room did need some renovations. There were scratches on the floor cover by a rug, some cabinets didn’t close properly. Our tv didn’t work so we had to wait a whole day and half for maintenance to fix it. Also, Unfortunately some items from our room went missing during our stay I spoke to the front desk about it because these missing items were expensive. The first staff i spoke to about it said she would get into contact about housekeeping to see if they found it but never got back to me even though she took my number and then I asked again when we checked out about the items it looks like the first person didn’t put in a note cause he didn’t see any note
