Nordic Inn

The fireplace, style, and furniture create a rustic and nostalgic western feel to the main lobby and rooms. This is a great place to spend time with friends (board game options), the breakfasts were tasty, and the hot tub offers excellent views. Bruce and the staff were great.

Found this to be an awesome little gem. Sat down by the fire with a St Bernard Mountain Whiskey, delicious! Will definitely be back as the breakfast was great, the pricing was great and I really enjoyed my time there. Very accessible to the mountain. This may be the first negative review I have ever left for a hotel, despite the fact that we travel between 30 and 60 days a year. We couldn't have been more disappointed in the Nordic Inn. It would be hard to list the number of things broken in the room: the lock for the tiny screen window, the hair dryer, the knob for the bedside cabinet door. The lock on the door didn't work--it had a sign on it not to use it. When I turned the shower on the knob fell right off the handle into the tub. It turned out that it just sat on the spindle without connecting in any way. The carpet was threadbare, filthy, and stained--I actually hated to walk on it with my socks. The carpet on the outside of the room coming up the stairs and in the outside hall was even worse, with large holes in it everywhere.

The breakfast options were good, and the hot tub was in good order.

My wife and I stayed for a recent ski trip and we were thrilled with our selection of this place - the room looked like it had recently been updated while remaining true to the historic nature and character of the town and inn and the staff couldn’t have been more kind and professional. We especially enjoyed coming back after dinner to the lobby area to sit by the fire, play the guitar and have a glass of wine. Can’t wait to go back.
