My wife and I have stayed here for almost 10 years now, and there’s a reason we keep coming back! The sign out front says it all…it truly is a European style guest house. Yes, that means the rooms are quite small and lack TVs, but the common areas are so inviting you won’t miss having a large room. Coming downstairs in the morning for coffee and breakfast feels very much like staying at a friend’s house, and you will certainly feel inclined to strike up a conversation with fellow guests as you relax by the fireplace. The breakfast is wonderful…yogurt, fruit, granola, baked goods, etc, and it changes a bit each day. Nice location, but the rooms are tiny. I had to crawl across the queen bed to get on my side of the bed. Bathroom has no space to put things. Contintental breakfast was adequate, but nothing special and there are no tables to sit at unless you're oK sitting outside near hot tub. It was too cold for that and some people had to stand to eat. I sat on the stairs.

Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice, the location was great, and we loved how it’s dog-friendly. However, we did have someone attempt to enter our room around 4 am. The lobby is unlocked 24/7 and the room doors do not have peepholes or deadbolts, so we felt very uneasy after that. We tried to inform hotel staff, but they never have anyone at the front desk - only someone to talk to through a ring camera. Considering the price of this place, they should at least install another safety lock on the room doors.

I stayed here back in July and it was just exceptional! Perhaps my favorite experience staying in a hotel ever. The owner was having a personal get-together during breakfast time and invited my fiancé and I to join them since we were also eating on the balcony. They had cooked tons of El Salvadoran food and shared it with us. We had delicious Pupusas and homemade sausage and more. Everyone was so kind to us and welcoming, it felt surreal! The cookies and wine every day are a nice touch as well and it was a great place to bring my dog. Not to mention the great location! Perfect all around.

Well worth the stay! Cozy, home-like atmosphere that makes you feel immediately welcomed. Love the thoughtful spaces & touches, such as hangout areas, tea, wine in the afternoon, spacious hot tub with a view of the mountain. Room is small, but has all the necessities and the location to catch the shuttle bus up to ski is prime. Will stay again!
