Nobu Hotel Chicago was honestly a beautiful surprise. I’ve stayed at many five-star hotels in Chicago, and this one is definitely at the top of my list so far. The entire property has a modern, minimalist luxury feel — clean lines, calming design, warm lighting, and that signature Nobu aesthetic throughout. The room itself was very clean, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt intentional and high quality. The bathroom was stunning — luxury finishes, beautiful lighting, and even premium touches like a Dyson hair dryer. It truly gives you that refined, high-end experience while still feeling comfortable and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel feels peaceful and exclusive. The only reason I gave service 4 stars instead of 5 is becaus
Edit: The hotel went above and beyond rectifying the situation. They changed me to a nicer room and even gave me a fruit basket to apologize. Very thankful! I am currently staying at this hotel. The staff is kind and the location is great. But this has been by far the worst soundproofing I have ever experienced in a hotel. My room has a locked door adjacent to the roo. next to me. I am able to hear loudly what those guests say, even now at night. On two occasions those guests have attempted to open the door dividing our rooms, on accident. I can hear the train every time it passes by quite loudly. For a hotel of this caliber, this should not be happening.
The room is spacious, with a minimalist yet refined design. A nice boutique hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at Nobu Hotel. The overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed and moody and feels very nice when you’re inside. We thought our room and bathroom was nice. The shower pressure was great and it was nice to have a normal shower head, as opposed to a rain shower. I also appreciated having the Dyson hair dryer and steamer. Beds were very comfortable and had blackout curtains. One thing to note is you will hear train noise at night, but it seems unavoidable if you’re staying in this area. It’s also difficult to eat room service in the room if more than 1 person is eating. There is only 1 chair and a long table that’s attached to the wall.
My husband and I decided to take a relaxing staycation before life gets really busy and we chose the Nobu hotel. We absolutely made the right decision. Anthony, Analysia, and the rest of the front desk staff were so kind and so easy to work with. This truly is a 5 start experience. My husband and I stayed here for the first time but it definitely won’t be the last. From the room to the tub in the zen deluxe suite, everything was perfect!!
