We needed a place to stay for a few days.|From the outside, it looked great. Inside, it was a bit tired and worn, especially the furniture—we really sank into the sofas and the bed. That said, the room was clean, the service was great, and it served its purpose for our stay.||Helpful tip for future guests:|If you plan to use the kitchenette, check with the front desk to have it stocked with pots, pans, plates, and utensils. For extra towels or towel changes, you’ll need to request them at reception. I honestly don't understand how this is one of the highest rated hotels in Minot. Perhaps it's OK as an extended stay but many of the features that the positive reviews reference are no longer offered. There is no pub and you could hardly call coffee and granola bars a breakfast. The suites are spacious however the furniture is dated and should be replaced. The finish on the night table was deteriorated and sticky. Could be cleaner as well, with dust accumulations in many places and areas not vacuumed. It's also not in a very good location as there's nothing nearby. There are likely dozens of places I'd choose to stay at in Minot before returning to this one.

The luggage cart had a flat tire. The room smelt like an ashtray. My sisters room smelled like cigarettes so strong, she checked out and went to a Holiday Inn. The carpet in our room was filthy. I had on white socks and the bottoms of them were black. The lamp switch by the bed was busted and didn't work. Amazing hotel, great location. We were visiting out who was recently stationed in Minot and came across this hotel. It was always clean and the workers were friendly. My husband and sons enjoyed the complimentary happy hour and breakfast during out stay. The rooms were a nice size with full appliance, which made out 10 day stay comfortable. It was walking distance to the mall and some restaurants. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

First off, the room. The carpet was in desperate need of cleaning, really awful. The lamp on the desk didn’t work and we tried everything, but there were lots of lights, so it was okay. The bed was super comfy, but why THREE pillows. Just odd. Couch was fine, coffee table that raised up was great. Huge fridge, decent towels, almost empty shampoo bottle. What was stranger was that we couldn’t find a way to change the temperature of the room, which was set at 70. It was okay, but when the AC went off next to the bed? Nippy. The real let down was “breakfast”. You have got to be joking. A partially functioning coffee machine and prepackaged muffins and the like? Do not make a breakfast.
