MainStay Suites Minot

I was told they had a shuttle available to take me to the airport @ 4:00 AM. I confirmed this THREE TIMES before I made the reservation. The manager, Raul, misled to me at the time of booking. When I checked into the hotel, I again confirmed the shuttle for 4:00 AM. The lady at the desk said she didn't know anything about a shuttle but that she would let the manager know when he came to do the "night audit". I never heard anything so I understood everything was in place. When I called down to the front desk at 3:50AM to confirm the shuttle would be ready at 4:00, the man at the desk said they didn't have a shuttle. Long story short, after several calls to the manager I was eventually able to speak to him directly and told him I didn't care if he had to drive me himself, he needed to get m

The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did not come in every day to bring clean towels and make beds. Towels are old and need replacing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Positive: NOTHING! Negative: The hotel room was filthy, not clean and worst there was a dead bug in the bed! We had to move to a different hotel that night and no refund nor apology was offerred from the hotel!

New ownership is cold and the ambiance of the hotel is not as welcoming since the new owners took away the employees 401’s, insurance and overtime. This has resulted in majority of the hotel staff to quit. The hotel staff was a MASSIVE reason why the hotel felt like home away from home. Sad days

Place needs a total remodel!! Some of the front desk people aren't very inviting with dirty and stained clothes. All the coffee pots and keurigs in the rooms are disgusting.
