Grand Oasis Hotel Minot

REALLY happy with the excellent price for a double room found through Booking site. They are in the midst of a remodel as they acknowledge there is some wear and tear. Front desk service was professional and efficient. Room was comfortable and hallway quiet. Again hotel is going through gradual update. The TV screen was 23" in our room hopefully this is scheduled for improvement, wifi was fine. Unfortunately sink wouldn't drain completely but we did not pursue a repair. Will definitely return if in the area again!

Rooms are old and very outdated. Lobby has been renovated but everything else is the exact same as it it was 30 years ago. (If not longer) no lounge, no restaurant. Pool out of service, and apparently the furnace as well!?

Just don’t stay here. Consider this your warning. My shower had MULTIPLE hairs in it, there were stains on the bedding, the A/C in the room went out and the room got to 74°. The contact for our group reservation never mentioned to us that the pool area, the restaurant and the bar were all going to be closed when we booked. Just know that the pool is under heavy construction and will be closed for quite a while, the restaurant is closed and the bar is also closed. The rooms are straight out of the late 80s with old, dated furniture and a tiny TV. When issues were addressed with the front desk, they absolutely did not care (I wasn’t surprised though given the lack of care for the rooms etc.). There are far better options around. Look elsewhere…

Not sure where they got the pics but it looks nothing like it. My room had two tvs with one remote. Idk how that’s supposed to work. I called the front desk and she said the maintenance guy would be right up to fix it. He never showed up. They say they are under construction so maybe it will be better. You can look pretty but unless you have good staff to run it, it doesn’t really matter. How is this a 3 star hotel? I’ve stayed in nicer 2 stars. Don’t waste your money here. There is way better hotels in Minot.

Stayed for one night. Staff was friendly. The rooms were clean but very outdated and stains. The beds and pillows were the worst. I never slept on a bed that uncomfortable in my life. I literally got no sleep and had a flight the next day. Expect back pain from these beds. Sad to say that the airplane seats were more comfortable than the beds here.
