New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott

I was only in NY for one night. Hotel was clean and welcoming. The airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes/ 24hrs which was very convenient! Even though this hotel is right across the street from the airport, it is NOT a walkable distance. There are highways and fencing blocking pedestrians from walking to the hotel. I would stay there again.

We needed a hotel for one night prior to a cruise. Since we had to be back at the airport the next morning to catch the Princess shuttle I wanted a hotel close to the airport with a free shuttle. I decided on the Marriott because they had rooms with views of the airport and we like to watch planes going in and out. After reading the reviews, I was a little worried, but there was nothing to worry about at all. The front desk staff were friendly. They checked us in our room was spacious and clean and had views of the airport. The beds were some of the most comfortable. I have slept in at a hotel . We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant that night and the food was delicious. I did not encounter any of the problems that other folks had complained about in their reviews. There was a slight bit

This property is in visibly bad condition and should not be operating under the Marriott name without serious renovation. The room was dirty and worn. The coffee maker was filthy and clearly not cleaned properly. Furniture throughout the room was heavily dinged and battered. Upholstery was torn and fraying, not “well used” but actively damaged. Common areas were worse. Hallway light fixtures were broken and flickering, creating an unsettling, prison-like atmosphere. Several fixtures appeared partially detached or malfunctioning. The elevators were especially disturbing. The doors hesitated, failed to close fully, and lurched open and shut like a malfunctioning Halloween ride. It did not inspire confidence or safety. The hotel has a few worn out furniture but overall the rooms are clean. The staff are professional and friendly. Mark the bellman was very professional and took care of my things in the cold which I really appreciated. I ordered room service once from the restaurant downstairs, it’s a $6 charge for them to bring it to your room. The shrimp quesadilla was good. I’ve also tried their vegetarian chili which was amazing so I can imagine the rest of the menu being fresh and tasty. The men working the breakfast area are also very friendly. Breakfast is $20 unlimited buffet. I don’t eat pork and there were only pork options available for the breakfast meats which was annoying but Other than that, I would stay here again. No complaints.

This hotel is right next to the airport and is very convenient. The rooms are very nice and the comfortable. Pricing is reasonable for the stay. The downstairs restaurant is fantastic and staff is super friendly.
