Hampton Inn New York - LaGuardia Airport

Had a fantastic trip over Labor Day weekend at Hampton Inn - Laguardia. Clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, a super convenient shuttle to and from the airport (as well as to the US Open grounds). Room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Can't wait to go back next year!

The staff at this hotel (Vim especially) were so great to us. The storm caused us to change our flight, so we arrived very early on our check in day (730 am). We got the shuttle to the hotel and Vim took great care of us. He had us in the room by 10 am, and we even got to enjoy the breakfast early. That evening, the hot water was out (a boiler issue) and again, he took great care of us, kept us informed and by morning it was working. The morning staff advised us not to wait to get to the cruise port due to the incoming storm, so we left at 8…. And had we not, we would not have gotten in as the ride shares were cancelling. The congestion at the port was causing too ma y delays. We would absolutely use this hotel again, and really enjoyed all of the staff.

I was really disappointed with my recent stay. The room was extremely dusty, and the air quality was poor, which made the stay uncomfortable. On top of that, the elevator had a very unpleasant odor that was noticeable every time it was used. I understand this is an airport hotel, but I still expected a higher standard from the Hilton brand—especially as a Silver member. Cleanliness and basic comfort should not be compromised, regardless of location. However, I do want to acknowledge that the shuttle driver on 1/16 was extremely kind, professional, and helpful during my 5:00 a.m. airport run. That level of service was appreciated and stood out as a positive experience. Unfortunately, my expectations overall were too high, and this stay did not reflect the quality I usually associate with

Positive: Staff are friendly and breakfast. But breakfast needs to be altered because they serve same stuff every day. Negative: The bathroom needs some update. The faucet are loose making it harder to regulate cold and hot water in the shower. But it's a best place to stay and safe.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. There was no hot water the whole time we stayed. The shower was freezing cold, and nothing was done to fix it. The room was very dirty, and the bathroom was disgusting with a bad smell. It did not feel clean at all. The bed sheets were not changed, and they looked used. We had to ask the staff to change them. The staff was not helpful and did not seem to care about the problems. For the money we paid, this was very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel.
