Airway Inn at LaGuardia

Absolutely the WORST hotel/motel I've ever stayed in – AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS! This place is a complete nightmare. No room service whatsoever, the staff outright refused to bring fresh towels, toilet paper, or even extra pillows when we asked multiple times. The room was filthy – stained sheets, dust everywhere, and a weird moldy smell that never went away. Thin walls meant we heard every argument and noise from the neighbors all night long. It felt more like staying in a rundown shelter than a hotel. Don't waste your hard-earned money here – you'll regret it!

It seems some rooms are worst than others. Front desk was helpful. No breakfast,or airport shuttle. Lots of cosmetic issues, stains everywhere. Walls are thin. As of no no bugs but if you are in a last minute pinch it will work.

Positive: it was close to La Guardia. Negative: I was scared for my life getting out of the Uber and walking to the front door. The hotel looked like a set piece from Escape From New York

Photos are misleading about stairs to the entrance of the hotel. Bathroom was dreadful. It was a $25 cab ride from the airport-there is no free shuttle or transportation provided by the hotel as advertised. On aa.com it states they offer room service and shows pictures of a breakfast room. They have neither. Our room was $236 for one night.We had a nonrefundable reservation for our return trip which we blew off and stayed at the Marriott for almost the same money.

The people that work at the front desk are nice and beyond helpful but idk if this place is understaffed or what. As I entered there were crumbs all over the floor, pubes and piss on the toilet, and roaches inside of the paintings that are framed and the walls are peeling.. the towels in the bathroom were used and the shower was clogged and brown water was coming out. Most days the water isn’t even cold and it’s the middle of winter..idk it’s rlly just sad that I had to clean my own room after literally losing everything in a house fire. I would just expect a clean room.
