New Smyrna Waves

Great spot. Roughly 25 minute walk to Flagler Ave. |Waves has several buildings not located right at the office check in area. So map isn’t exactly accurate but good locations so don’t fret. |We had a two bedroom unit with 2 bath on second floor. No elevator for be prepared to haul your luggage up steps. Well equipped with the basics. We picked up a few disposal tin pans to cook with in the oven. |Pool is small but functional. |Parking is tight for a full size truck and only one parking spot per unit. Overall good experience and well priced for what it is.

Many will say that Sea villas is dated but it was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The living room furniture was very comfortable and new. The kitchen was extremely well furnished for any type of cooking you want to do. There was even a tea kettle! The mattresses were too soft for our comfort but they were not old. We were blessed to have a second floor ocean front unit which was delightful. Be aware - this is a two story facility and there are only steps to each unit. We did not mind but others might. Very private in that your steps only go to your unit.

We stayed here (family of 4) Sept 26-Oct 3. Not the best time to visit Florida due to hurricane season but we had a great time! It did rain most days, but with Florida weather we had plenty of sunshine too. The tide was high almost everyday too. We had the pool mostly to ourselves everyday! We stayed in unit 215 at the Sea Villas. This is the very end unit and we had the best view of the ocean and pool! The units were spacious enough for our family. The laundry is located in Sea Villas IV but it’s a very short walk next door, and the laundry room is air conditioned. Laundry cost $2 per wash and $2 per dry and is quarter operated. They have detergent and dryer sheets for purchase with coins also. The beds were comfortable, though we could’ve used a couple extra blankets for sleep. On Monday

The worst. Have had a time share for over 20 years and thought we would try somewhere different. Checked in and tv was not working, was told by front desk that lightning struck on Sunday, mind you we checked in on Saturday. You mean housekeeping doesn't check to see everything works before a check-in. The only good thing was the evening maintenance guy was extremely nice and a pleasure. You call after hours and says mailbox is full, and no answering service. Call again on Monday morning, phone just rings, then drops you off your call. No where does it say you do not have access from the property to the beach; you have to go out and around the building to the dirt access road and down the County steps to the beach. All the beach chairs are mildewed and not kept up, I would not even

We arrived early evening on a Friday. With the online check-in information we went straight to our room. The rooms were clean and spacious. Comfortable furniture. The large patio has plenty of furniture to set and relax overlooking the beach and sunrise.
