Nature's Retreat Cabins

Nature’s Retreat Cabins are owned by the same people that own Grandma Faye’s Grocery store. After you arrive at Hocking Hills you have to pick up your keys at the store. We stayed at the Lily Pad for 2 nights. The overall experience was good. The cabin is located very close to the park. It’s nice and secluded. It’s a two person cabin with a kitchen area and a bed all in the same space (studio style). The bathroom was separate. It does come with a hot tub. They also provide a charcoal and a gas grill but you need to bring your own charcoal and/or gas. Great little cabin with a lot of privacy which is exactly what we were hoping for. We will definitely come back.

We spent our long weekend getaway at the Lily Pad cabin. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for: clean, private, and so close to all the hiking attractions of Hocking Hills. Each day began and ended in the hot tub, evenings were enjoyed around the campfire. We are already planning our next trip to the Lily Pad!!!

We loved the Lily Pad! It was absolutely amazing! It has everything you need! Bring your own food, clothes and towels for the hot tub and that's it! These guys really know how to cater to your needs. I've never been to a place that I like my cabin just as much as the place I'm going to see & that is so fantastic! Great price for 3 nights! They even have some games you can play, including the dollar game! It's an absolute must!! Thank you all for being the amazing people that you are!!

My Fiancé and I stayed the weekend at Fayes Getaway and at first thought we were in for a good experience. Friday night we enjoyed the hot tub and the grill provided and went to bed. Saturday morning however we discovered five live wasps inside the cabin. We trapped a few and released them and then went about our day. However when we returned we found four more wasps inside the cabin. We ended up walking across the street and asking the staff at Faye’s Grocery to contact management as the two phone calls I had made earlier about the bug problem went unanswered. Someone did show up with a can of bug spray and sprayed around the door frames, but we still found more wasps in the kitchen and bathroom. In March we spent a couple of days at Fayes Getaway for our twins 21st Birthday. Being local we never thought of staying anywhere but home but this was definitely a home away from home with everything we needed! It was amazingly clean and comfortable. Right across the street is Grandma Fayes which we frequented more times than I can count for things we needed or didn’t since they had everything! We had such a great experience we now have one of the other properties booked in October for a staycation and cannot wait!
