My Place Hotel-Wixom, MI

My husband booked this hotel for us for a weekend Getaway. I was kinda scared cause he's not used to booking rooms. But I'm actually very proud of him. Room was very clean and nice. Staff was amazing and they all very well love pets 🐶. Pet friendly and they even have a pet area with the poop bags. Grill area with tables and grills. Room has its own big refrigerator and freezer that makes ice. So no running around to the ice maker for ice. Kitchen sink with a stove top. They even give you cleaning rags with the detergent, microwave is included & not a desk top one. Everything was clean like no one has ever been in room. Loved it. Thanks for the housekeeping for an amazing job of making sure guests will return, cause I know I definitely will.

This property was extremely clean. I felt safe being there alone. I didn't use the on-site store, but it is concern and well stocked. The staff was very professional, pleasant and helpful. This was my first trip to Michigan, but probably not my last. I will stay there again.

Positive: Dog friendly and very clean Negative: They are still not including any type of breakfast even a continental which to me is just horrible. They stopped it during Covid and never brought it back. Pretty much all other hotels include some sort of breakfast. Front desk staff blame corporate.

We were 3 hours from home for my mom’s cancer treatments, and I was stressed and unsure where to turn. One phone call to My Place Hotel in Wixom and Aqua immediately put me at ease—she was so kind and quickly accommodated us for a 6-week stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and understanding. Jessica, the manager, was absolutely top-notch, and Aneta was so kind and caring. The majority of the front desk staff quickly came to know our family and would always ask how my mom was doing—that small act meant the world to us during such a difficult time. We booked a last minute hotel for our trip to Ann Arbor on 10/2/25 and didn’t want to pay an exorbitant price. This was a good deal for an overnight stay. Place was a bit out of the way, but clean and cozy. It was like a studio apartment. Fridge, microwave and 2 burner stove in room. Grocery store , restaurants and shops nearby. I would suggest not staying on first floor if you’re traveling alone as a female. The lock on the window was not as secure as I’d like, but my husband was with me. Staff was friendly for the little interaction I had.
