Comfort Suites Wixom - Novi

This place looks extremely run down. We booked this hotel for the sole reason that they had a pool. We get there only to find out that there was a leak a few days ago and the pool was closed. We got into our room to find that the glass closet door was falling off its track and extremely unsafe. Looking further around the room, the mirrors were dirty, and the Bathroom toilet flush handle was broken. We went to call the desk, and the phone cord was so loose that it fell out of the phone as soon as I picked it up. After the call, we realized that there were 0 towels. As I was walking out the door to go to the front desk, I then saw that the latch-lock was broken, and unusable. Location is great but the Hotel itself is fairly ghetto. Our entire floor smelled like cigarette smoke. The tv they had was tiny as hell and old. No WiFi no Bluetooth capability. So it’s safe to say we didn’t watch any tv. Their continental breakfast could have been better. I didn’t understand why honey buns was part of the breakfast. lol. Our key card wouldn’t work even after he programmed some new ones. We had to keep letting each other in and out of the work. But the shower I took there was great and the bed was huge and comfortable. But that grandma looking couch and that tv they can just throw away. I see they didn’t have any bibles in the nightstand either. They must have gotten tired of People stealing. But the kicker was they told my bae that he had to bring down our used towels do

The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. There was a wad of gum in the elevator that was there for my entire stay, and there was grime on the floor in corners where it looks like it has not been touched in years. In the room itself, there was dust on the walls that could only be removed by a putty knife, and there was no way I was getting in the shower without my crocs. The low water pressure in the shower reminded me of trying to shower in a drinking fountain. There was an oily hand print on the headboard that was definitely not mine as I was there by myself. I travel monthly from New York to see my doctors and son . Kevin and staff are extremely professional and welcoming when it comes to my needs etc . My stays are nothing but comfort! Tony the owner is on point always. Heat is perfect breakfast hits the spot and so much more I might add. Thanks guys for always making me feel welcome👍💯🙏✊

Sadly, this facility is in. A state of disrepair. We used to stay here when we’d go to the Lion’s game on Thanksgiving. It was great. That’s no longer the case. The room was dirty, we were literally the only people there, trash in the parking lot, stained carpets, the coffee machine was missing parts as was the fridge. There was a gaping hole in the shower, the shampoo was an half used bottle, and there were bugs in the room. I’d never stay here again- it used be be a great stay.
