Moxy Washington, DC Downtown

This was my 1st time staying here. This place was amazing. The decor, the games in the lobby and the room, BEAUTIFUL! Our shower in the room was in-between the bed and bathroom. That was a sexy design. The hotel had a nice selection of snacks and drinks for purchase. The guys at the valet parking were friendly. There was a resturant/ rooftop bar. Every evening you can here the music but it wasnt heard in the room. Outside there were chairs, lights and a fire pit. It was nice to hang out. It was localized in a nice area. We were able to walk to resturants and clubs. The staff there were helpful and polite. I have nothing bad to say. I can wait to stay at another Moxy location or at this one again.

The room is too small, even they can't put a table. If you have a big luggage, then your life will be squezzed. TV was in the wall but with totally strange position you can't watch properly due to lack of distance. Hot water pot was centrally provided in the lobby level, but most of the time was empty that you have to beg to front office for refill; there is no kettle in room. Bed mattress is like banana, you will sink in the middle, it can't hold your weight although you're a slim person.

Funky and trendy hotel in the centre of all the action. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. |We rented scooters in front of the hotel to tour the city. It was convenient and easy to get around. |Service at checkin was fast, efficient, and friendly. Very much appreciated when we arrived later in the evening. |Rooms are small but have everything you would need to a good night sleep. The bar in the lobby provided fun entertainment and cold drinks to enjoy the evening. |Great spot to stay when visiting Washington. Recommend for ages 20-50 or people looking for a lively style location.

Stayed for a mini weekend gateway and loved it!. The service and front desk staff were chill and cool vibes. Check in/out process was smooth. I recommend using valet instead of using the nearby garages as it has limited in/out access and street parking is timed. Stay in the king bedroom (city view) and its a boutique style hotel so the room was small, limited to one side of the bed, as the side is almost leaning against the window, however it was enough space for the two of us. No complaints about the room, but others may want more space. The staff at the rooftop patio were amazing. the drinks and food were good! and the decor and photo area were an added touch. Games (Jenga, connect 4, etc) are available in lobby. The gym was good. it had a good variety of equipment, weights, boxing bag,

Hideous. Internet doesn't work, tv barely works. My interaction with the crew member in chief when we checked in was frigid, because he just didn't feel like speaking more than one to.two words in answer to anything I said to him, including "Good evening". On our first night, our next door neighbors screamed at the top of their lungs for an hour at 5 in the morning and no one down at reception answered our phone call for help. The same people were screaming the following night at 10 when we were back in our room. After calling to no avail again, I went down to reception where the same unfriendly person in charge said they would send up security without even enquiring about the room where the noise was coming from.
