Mountain Mist Lodge

Pictures look just like the website. Truly an awesome place to spend it. There was a couple of things wrong that weren't able to get fixed while we where there. The most important one being that we had no internet for our entire stay. The other beings maintenance issues. The room we stayed in had a super comfy bed. All of the bedrooms open up into the porch which was a bonus. There was also two jacuzzis (on separate floors) which made for a nice fun night with the family. The day after we arrived it snows and in the morning a snow plow truck came by and cleared the snow from the roads. This lodge is located further up so expect steep roads. The worst vacation rental experience of my life. The cabin was in poor condition. One hot tub had the entire side missing and the other didn't work until maintenance finally "fixed" it late in our week. Then it overheated. The gaskets were tore up around oven doors so it would not heat properly. One mattress looked like someone urinated all over it. One bed had two broken boxed springs and the mattress sunk in the middle. The rental company blamed the owner for refusing to bring out two appropriate mattresses. One dish washer didn't work. The theater didn't work. A few of the tvs in bedrooms didn't work and one bedroom was missing the TV. Shower doors were falling off. The floors were so dirty, our grandkids feet were black. Talk about disgusting. This house has so many things not working and is absolutely gross. The floors had crumbs on it when we first walked in, your feet will turn black, disgusting dirty windows, carpets so gross they looked like they haven't ever been swept. Bugs, bugs, bugs. Two hot tubs and neither worked, one is on the top porch and has a severe leak causing the floorboards to rot which will be a major hazard, no wifi, leaking fridge, also no place to put trash. We called them multiple times and they said they would send someone to pickup trash but never did for the whole week we were there no place to put it. 2 Uncovered garbage disposals one of the switches at child's height. DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst company to rent from, inattentive is an understatement. Firstly, they didn’t send the code till over an hour after arriving after numerous attempts to contact them about this. We sat outside IN THE HEAT with children due to their incompetence. During this time we also had to wait for the cleaners to get done even though we were there past the set time everything was suppose to be good. Finally, after being able to go inside to everyone’s surprise there was NO WI-FI! This is blatant false advertising, it is advertised there is in fact wi-fi and once booked, instructions were provided in order to set it up. Because of this, the theater room is a useless waste of space without internet and there is no hdmi cord with the dvd player in the room (also the seats are insane

DO NOT BOOK THIS CABIN. The one thing I really liked about this cabin was the location. But that was close to the only thing I liked. We reached out to management MULTIPLE TIMES about our concerns based on reviews, and they said we had nothing to worry about. They lied. At 11:59 PM the night before we were due to arrive, I received an email saying that the fridge and stove didn't work and that someone "may" be in fix them during our stay. Naturally I was not pleased, especially since the stove specifically was one of the things we mentioned our concerns about. They had plenty of time to fix it. They acted like these two major appliances not working were just minor inconveniences, and I told them in no uncertain terms that these issues - and any others - WOULD be addressed because w
