Mount Vue Motel

This is definitely a cheap hotel that I wouldn't take my small kids to and its extremely outdated. No phones in the rooms. They do have smoking rooms. But I wanted to review to say this. This is the CLEANEST hotel ive stayed at in a long time. The bathrooms are super clean you could eat off the floor. Like this was the cleanest bath tub its probably cleaner than mine at home lol. The only thing is the carpet. Its old and we'll used but still your socks didnt get dirty.

My fiancé and I checked in for a night. We were there a few hours. He went to the Ingles next door and came back. He went out with a friend and when they brought him back they asked if they could use the restroom real quick. Almost immediately the manger came pounding on our door. “No guests”. “She’s just using the bathroom.” “No guests, get her out of there or I’ll call the cops” “okay”. Ushered the friend out the there. Not 5 minutes later the manager bangs on the door again “No guests” There isn’t anyone in the room except us. We offered to let him look around. He said he had cameras and we had had 3 guests, different people driving up and dropping us off. He said he was going to call the cops if we left the room again. ||||We gathered up our stuff and checked out. Wouldn’t give us a re

Great stay. My daughter and I enjoy finding great little old fashioned Motor Lodge style family owned places to spend a night. Mount Vue did not disappoint. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The vintage bathroom took me back to the trips of my youth. If you are heading to Asheville, give them a try, Our room had a fridge and microwave but no coffee maker.

We checked in and all I was doing was looking for a pair of socks when the rude man that checked us in told us we couldn't do that. They lady that I talked to yesterday was very nice but the man was very rude today. We even tried to explain it to him but he wouldn't listen. I would not recommend anyone staying here unless the woman is there.

I would not recommend staying there. We checked in and I was looking for a pair of socks and the rude man that checked us in came yelling at us telling us we could not stay. We tried to explain to him that we were looking for socks and he covered up his ears so that he wouldn't have to listen to us trying to explain it to him. He was very rude the whole time and I will never stay there again.
